| Royal Hospital Chelsea – the Governor’s Review. Royal Hospital Chelsea is a retirement and nursing home for British soldiers. Commissioned by king Charles II in 1681, it now accommodates about 300 pensioners (including women). In June each year, the Founder’s Day is celebrated, with Governor’s Review being the official rehearsal before the main ceremony. (District and Circle Line: Sloane Square) | |
