DSC02857.JPG - The Globe Theatre was a theatre built by Shakespeare’s playing company in 1599. However, it was destroyed by fire shortly afterwards in 1613. A second Globe Theatre was built the following ear yet it closed in 1642. The Globe as we can see it now was the vision of one man called Sam Wanamaker. It opened in 1997.
