Principal's Message
At Burlington we pride ourselves in offering a study package to cater for all of your needs. Not only are our courses so varied as to attract students at every level from Beginners to Proficiency, but they also cover many specialist areas to suit every student's individual learning goals.
We offer General English, Business English, Exam Preparation Classes (for the IELTS and the Cambridge General English Exams), English for Academic Purposes, English for Teachers, Cultural Studies and English for Specific Purposes in addition to daily Language Workshops. We offer group lessons and one-to-one tuition - we know you will find something to cater for your needs.
All our teachers are qualified, experienced and will provide good quality lessons at all levels (from Beginner to Proficiency). They are well supported by our Vice Principle and our administrative staff. Whether you study in group classes, small specialist tutorials or on a one-to-one basis. In liaison with our Vice Principal, teachers constantly develop teaching materials to meet their current students' needs.
The School’s premises are spacious and the classrooms are well equipped. There are also computers for students’ use and free wireless Internet is available throughout the building. We have a wide range of books, CDs and videos that students can borrow from the School, along with self-access materials to help you continue your studies outside the classroom.
As well as having interesting lessons, you will have the benefit of living in London - students staying in Homestay Accommodation will also have an invaluable insight into English life with an English-speaking family. Our Welfare and Accommodation Officer will help you to find and move in to good quality, affordable accommodation, so that you are as comfortable as possible during your stay here. If you have any personal issues or problems our Welfare and Accommodation Officer will help you to address and resolve them to your satisfaction.
Our carefully selected and drafted Leisure Programme will help you to explore and experience the sites, sounds and culture in England, and to practice your English outside the class.
Finally, you will meet lots of people from many different countries which will allow you to have an opportunity to make new friends and practise your English in many different ways in a very multicultural and multinational environment.
