General Business English
The Burlington School offers Business English courses for students with practical English language requirements in specific commercial subject areas. Each course combines GE-15 instruction with approximately five hours per week of specialist one-to-one or small-group classes in these business topics. The School's instructors for these courses are not specialists in the subject areas. Rather, they are English language teachers with teaching experience in the terminology, grammar, dialogue and language usage relating to these business fields.
GBE-20C: General Business English
Hours per week including breaks:
20, made up of 15 hours in GE-15 group classes in the morning and 5 hours in one-to-one or small-group sessions after lunch
Required language level: mid-intermediate or above
Minimum Enrolment period: 1 week
The Burlington's General Business English course is an introductory programme of study combining GE-15 classes with general English used in a business context. This course is offered on a scheduled basis throughout the year, subject to advance notification and demand.
